As of the end of December begining of January I've never been so happy in my life.
Parkour is the main reason for making me this happy, not doing parkour, but the people I've met through it have changed me. I've met someone who I'm so lucky to have met!
Speaking of parkour, its been epic recently.
I made a new video, documenting my training throughout January. My knees improved, and I just felt alot better.
I've been training around my area a lot and I've been working on a lot of simple movements, I got my underbars really smooth, managed to get diving legs first, makes me a happy bunny.
I had 2 bails the other day, one wasnt so serious, missed the rail on a catpass, went hands first to the floor, not a scratch! Other one, I hit my knee on wall again! That hurt and it got cut open quite nicely.
Today I trained in Newcastle, some of us met at 9am, it was worth the early start did a lot of big precisions/arm jumps that I thought I'd never do, a lot of tricking today aswell.
It was a lovely day, awesome weather, so some of us were topless nearly all day! We started tricking at the Quayside for about an hour, attracted a nice crowd, everyone was very positive towards us, a lot of people stopped to talk to us or take pictures! I gave some of them the link to the nepk website so hopefully we'll see some of the pictures soon.
I also managed to sideflip over 5 people layed down, and I landed about a 9 foot sideflip, distance across something that is!
I'm really tired now! Could do wiht a hot bath, then crawling into bed and having someone special in bed to cuddle up too!
Keep dreaming sunshine!
As for new videos:

My life be like
Oooh ahhh.
Had another epic weekend, I came out if it not being able to walk very well though!
On the 19th Hollie came up from Leeds to Newcastle and Alex Winslow and Woody came from Sheffield!
Was a huge turnout with 37 people at some point. I was training really well, climb ups were good, and fast. Movements were quick and working well.
Training at sandgate, going for the biggest catpass precision (level) that I have ever tryed. I started landed it in a semi crane but not holding it, then I got it in crane and then I made it! When getting filmed, disaster struck...
Oh well, these things happen. Can't walk too well, and squatting is impossible!
The pain is bearable though!
Hmmmmm, new video out soon!

I smell progression
Training has been epic recently.
Everything seems to be coming at once, everything is bigger, faster. And I'm more confident, I'll take backtucks/flips for example.
A week or so a go I went to the gym in Bradford, and learnt backtucks, then, few days later got them onto grass, day after, took them onto concrete.
This was odd for me, because I had been able to do sideflips for months but never had the balls to take it onto concrete, but almost straight away I was happy to backflip on concrete.
My backflips are off things by the way.
It's not parkour progression, but its mental progression.
And training last night, just being imaginative, using the skills I've learnt to move, for the sake of moving.
I've also got my underbars down to a point where I am very pleased with them, they used to be a movement I just could not do, now I love them!
I also did a large wall run, twice my height with a ledge sticking out about 8 inches. The wall was super grippy but I was taking off wet grass, this didnt bother me, I was getting quite close and I just thought to myself, run a little faster, and I did, got my hands on, was an amazing sense of achievment, especially when I had looked at the wall run about 3 months before and thought that wall run would take another year of training to get.
Just need to get stronger now.

Word.
The past 4 days have been pretty amazing, I could not think of a better way to end the year, than sat on a rock on top of a hill with some amazing people.
2007 has been one of the worst years of my life, as becoming a teenager starts, I assume these things happen, but with the constant illness of my Nana, and then her death, it has saddened me, not to a point of crying, but to anger. I feel angry a lot these days.
But, anyway, I was genuinely expecting a frankly crap end to the year with me sat on my laptop all night, but I was already staying in Leeds until Sunday with Alistair, when Hollie offered me to stay at hers until Tuesday and spend New Years Eve on top of Ilkley Moor (moore)
Saying "Yes" was the best decision I have made in a long time. I have had a seriously amazing past few days, and I have laughed the whole time, (Bema is one funny guy)
Saturday, I went to Leeds, met Alistair and we had some lulz at the Red Rails, playing with diablo, eating grapes, breaking diablo, getting it fixed by Scott, arguing whether to go to the gym or not, (we did) But it was all good, me, Jamie, and Scott went to the gym in Bradford and the plan was that Alistair and Hollie would wait for Ben to arrive and meet again at the gym. In the gym, Liam, Jamie, and Scott helped me get Back tucks, I did my first into the foam pit (quite well too) then off a high vault box onto crash mat, and then off a smaller vault horse onto the floor. After that I took it on the floor, had a few landings on my knees, but most of the time I was landing on my feet.
After that, went back to Leeds to play 'the game' (you just lost it) Paul, (Guy junior) was a god at this game, however, mine and Alistairs tactics did pay off towards the end, when he did a delicious down climb go distract everyone and I made for the flag (well, box) and got in :D
Stayed at Alistair's that night, he made me a protein shake, was very nice! I proved I was weak by failing to lift weights and Alistair learnt diablo.
Next day we hit up Ilkley Moor (moore) and lulz ensued, everything was wet, we had a laugh, shouted 300 quotes and larked around.
Then went to Hollie's met up with some of Hollie's friends, and Ed, and went in search of 'Curry Sauce' which we found, ate and then we watched Team America, haha, was great fun.
Next morning, me Hollie and Ben, finally left our beds at about 12:30, though, me and Ben had been up for about 2 hours haha. We also bullied Hollie for twitching.
After breakfast and drinking two pints of the ten Hollie has to be used up, me and Ben filmed why it was useful to have a river, and Hollie flooded Ilkley, you really did have to be there, hilarious!
I then taught Ben and Hollie some geography, and then we went out training and met up with some of Hollie's friends, I got a nice cat pass precision but did my knee in on a wall. Landed a side on concrete for the first time. Did some nice underbar training too on a set of rails at Hollie's school.
Then we went back to Hollie's and chilled like villans, I offered everyone a cheese and pickle sarnie but they declined, then everyone came over, I cooked pizza and we headed out to the Moors (moores)
We had some lulz on the way up as some of us were scared of the murderer on the loose. Once we got there, frankly, the views were amazing, seriously beautiful.
We watched the fireworks, and headed back down to Hollie's, drank more milk and headed to bed, however, Ben was adimant to make us laugh, so, I didn't really sleep till about 3, Hollie was twitching again and it was lulz.
Then this morning we got up, I was upset as there were no coco pops, and we just lazed around. I packed, and got ready to leave.
Got the train back and now I'm home!
I feel quite sad really, I got used to living with people, well, actually my friends. And I'm always going to remember this weekend, can't wait for a similar experience.
Anyway, big thanks to everyone who made this weekend happen, Alistair, Hollie, and their parents, and Ben just for being an amazingly funny guy.
Overall, the best way to end a year that I have ever experienced.
Words to sum up the weekend: Epic, Brap, Lulz, Green Eyes, That green pen that was epic, Tidy, Fit, Schlongs, OMGWTFBBQ
Songs: Double Team, and Green Eyes.
If you read this, sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

Mental
Ever since I was a kid, the one thing that always stopped me doing my best was my mind, I'm a pessimist, I always expect the worst. It always annoyed me, but thats probably because I was annoyed with myself for being annoyed.
And this mental block came to me with Parkour, I'm not fearless, I'm quite the opposite, I know I have the skill to do something, but if its something bigger, newer, I just get into the, I can't mindset.
It happend in Leeds, (I went on saturday, thanks to everyone that met me) but Alistair and Jamie helped me to get over it, there was this running arm jump and I was practising it, and I was getting a foot on it and a I knew I could do it, but I wasn't commiting. Alistair and Jamie helped me to commit, and I stuck it. I think I was in the wrong mindset but I managed to resuce myself, I intend to follow this through and as I know my limits I can do anything within them, nothing should be there blocking me, especially not my mind.
So, yep :)

Boredom
So, as my half term draws to an end, I made a video to ease my boredom.
Its nothing interesting, just a few catpass precisions and some rail work. The intro is for the lulz too.
